It's quite possible that things will turn out far better than we have imagined.

On June 17, 2014, on what was otherwise a pretty normal work-from-home day, my house caught fire due to an outdoor fire on the adjacent property. This devastating experience - which took my home, my office, my vehicle, and almost my life did not leave me completely empty-handed. One of the many gifts this traumatic experience offered me was a quiet practice in which to allow my nervous system - and my soul - to heal. 

The name Aithne Kriya Art came out of my healing journey. 

Aithne (Irish, pronounced "Ah-nuh") means FIRE

Kriya - a Sanskrit word meaning "soul cries"

Aithne Kriya Art became my "AKA." I've often thought of letting it go, but it was such a meaningful piece to my healing, so I've decided to keep it.
